1st Thursday Program - Best Practices for Vendor Selection

From hiring a consultant for a short-term project, to selecting an online tool or an outsourcing solution, RFPs and RFIs are an integral part of the total rewards practitioner's role. This session will highlight an overall approach and practical tools that are a "must-have" in every selection process. No matter how small the scope or how short the timelines, these few essential steps will ensure internal stakeholder buy-in, navigate the decision-making process and lay the groundwork for a successful, mutually-beneficial and long-term partnership with your newly-selected vendor.

1. First things first: Participants will hear about a straight-forward practical way to identify the stakeholders, get the buy-in and define success. The tool will also help crystallize selection criteria and highlight the goal of the selection process.
